As an integral member of the administrative team, you will be
responsible for providing general administrative and project support to
the Director of Human Resources and the Executive Assistant to the Head
of School.
Key Responsibilities
-
Preparing and posting job openings, internally and externally
- Sourcing
and pre-screening potential candidates
- Preparing offer
letters and ensuring background checks are completed
- Maintaining
HR files and database, and updating confidential information
- Preparing
materials and co-ordinating orientation process
- Updating
employee and student data base
- Managing the summer mail-out
process to all registered students
- Ordering business
cards, name tags, etc.
- Providing back-up support and
reception relief to front office receptionist
- Supporting
additional projects as required
Skills /Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A
high degree of initiative, diplomacy, and tact
- Strong
attention to detail
- Excellent time management and
organizational skills
- Ability to adapt well to change and
multi-task
- Strong computer skills
- 1 – 2
years related experience
- Post secondary education
- Working
towards a CHRP designation an asset
