Student Leadership

Leadership is a developmental process which begins in grade 1 and culminates in the grade 6 and 7 program. Students participate in leadership workshops which focus on social responsibility, ethical decision making, character development, inclusive behaviour, and effective communication.

Student leadership is a dynamic, inspirational, and supportive component of the junior school. Opportunities are provided for students to learn, practice, and apply age-appropriate leadership skills and strategies. In grade 6 and 7, students participate in formal leadership roles. They plan and implement activities involved with social service, intramurals, bulletin boards, library assistance, environmental awareness, announcements, house meetings, and games days.
