Library
The Junior School library contains a wonderful and growing collection of resources which support the Junior School curriculum, including fiction and nonfiction books and both print and electronic periodical and research resources. The teacher-librarian selects and organizes these resources and plans and teaches cooperatively with classroom teachers to integrate them into the curriculum according to a scope and sequence of information and research skills for each grade level. The library is equipped with computers and other electronic equipment to facilitate the integration of information skills and technology. The goal of the library program is to foster a love of reading and to equip students with information literacy skills that will enable them to function effectively as they move through the grades and continue as lifelong learners in society.
