Canadian University Counselling
The Canadian Post-Secondary program at CHS begins in the spring of grade eleven in Planning 10B where students are introduced to the postsecondary research and application process. In the fall of grade twelve, students will continue to receive guidance and support throughout the remainder of the program and scholarship research, and their application process.
Students will receive counselling in small groups as well as one-on-one meetings. Throughout the process, students are strongly encouraged to attend guest presentations from representatives of various post-secondary institutions held at CHS , and they are encouraged to engage in an on-going dialogue with their families. Students are also encouraged to visit prospective campuses if possible.
