Croftonian Crumbs

Croftonian Crumbs was the title of the first edition of the spontaneous and playful school publication, started by Miss Ellen Bryan in 1954. Similar to how today's blogs offer writers a creative and casual space, Croftonian Crumbs originally provided CHS girls an opportunity to put pen to paper without the constraints of a conventional format. We are pleased to revive the spirit of Croftonian Crumbs, in its 21st century digital edition.

Video: ECE flash mob to raise funds for children's hospice care

The ECE students used the concepts, ideas, and artwork from their study of the author and illustrator, Eric Carle, to inspire a new "Kids for Kids" fundraiser for Canuck Place. The students made butterfly buttons, as the butterfly is the symbol of hospice care, to sell to the CHS community. To promote their "Butterfly Button Day" fundraiser, they flash mobbed the Junior School assembly!

Butterfly Butttons will be sold on Monday June 4, in the junior school for a minimum donation of $5.00. Buttons will also be available at the senior school office for purchase.
