Alumnae events at Crofton House School offer the school's graduates great opportunities to connect and share their experiences
CARE Walk in Her Shoes
Sunday, March 8, 2020
All alumnae are invited to join the larger CHS community at the CARE Canada Walk in Her Shoes event on Sunday, March 8. This family-friendly event begins with a kick-off at Creekside Community Recreation Centre from 8:30 am to 9:30 am.
Starting at 10:00 am, participants will walk 10,000 steps, the number of steps that represents the typical distance girls and women in developing countries have to travel each day to collect essentials for survival like firewood and water – tasks that often prevent girls from being able to attend school. All funds raised will go towards CARE Canada's Malawi project supporting healthy moms and babies.
Care Package Prep Evening
Monday, March 9, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Heritage Dining Room, Old Residence
Join your fellow alumnae as we show support to our single mothers in our city. A light dinner and refreshments will be served. Please RSVP by March 2, 2020.
The CHS Alumnae Association has launched a new Outreach Initiative for 2020 partnering with the Ray-Cam Co-operative Centre, located at 920 East Hasting Street, in providing vital ‘start-up’ care packages to single mothers. Our goal is to provide much needed basic family supplies after the donations from the holiday season have been exhausted.

Alumnae from 2019 to 2009 joined us at Point Grey Golf club for our 2nd annual Young Alumnae Winter Reception. Many alumnae asked if we would do this again in the Spring when more of our young alumnae would be home from university. So yes, we will! Stay tuned for the date for the Spring Young Alumnae Social!

Best of the Holiday Season - December 22, 2018
The 2018 Holiday Season saw a few changes and a new addition to our annual alumnae events.
On December 22, 2018 we were pleased to host the return of our Young Alumnae Holiday Social at the Point Grey Golf and Country Club. Over 50 young alumnae came together to reconnect and celebrate the coming holiday festivities. The evening was very lively with the group spontaneously breaking out into singing the school song! Servabo Fidem!
Tradition is a large part of the CHS experience, and no tradition runs deeper than the Crofton House Carol Service although this year was saw a small but successful change! For the first time in over two decades the Carol Service and the Seasonal Social saw a change in venue but this didn’t change the strong spirit of community that the alumnae always bring to these events. The school was pleased to host the Seasonal Social at Cecil Green House where alumnae spanning five decades came together to share coffee and conversation before moving over to UBC Chan Centre for the annual Carol Service.
