The Wade Family Library
The Senior School library is a bustling, engaging environment. On any given day, classes can be found researching a variety of topics – from the French Revolution, human genomes, film history and everything in between. Grade-appropriate research and citation instruction is available to give our students the skills for success.
Our library houses fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, reference and DVDs, as well as streaming video and research databases. We also hold a selection of rare books from the original reading room at Crofton House. Girls are invited to enjoy comfortable couches and tables, and a variety of puzzles, board games, artistic activities and exciting programming while in the library. Grand ceilings, a fireplace and a proud gallery of student work make this library unique and memorable. The collections are lovingly selected through academic partnerships and input from our audience.
We strive to foster a lifelong love of reading and learning, and aspire to exceptional library service in an ever-changing, digital information age. Library hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily, with knowledgeable library staff ready to field any inquiry.
