The Crofton House School community is built on a strong foundation of volunteerism and philanthropy. Our ability to grow is a direct result of the dedication and investment our families and alumnae make by volunteering, sharing their skills, talents & expertise, and through their donations. The Crofton House School Annual Fund is an expression of that generosity. Each donation contributes to an impactful and life-changing learning experience for all our students.
You can be a part of this legacy by directing your donation to one of the following priorities.
Gifts in support of the CHS Financial Assistance Program help remove financial barriers for students wishing to join Crofton House School in Grade 8, or provide continuity of education for existing families facing challenging circumstances. Last year 43 students benefited from your generosity!
Any gift directed to support the academics, arts, and athletics programs has helped create an enriched learning environment that benefits from the latest and most-innovative approaches to education. Through your generosity, in recent years we have updated Chan Hall, purchased new instruments, renovated the computer and robotics classroom, enhanced the CHS rowing program, and purchased new ergonomic tables and chairs for the Senior School science classrooms. Your generosity will help us continue facilitating our modern approach, supported by our best tools.
In the fall of 2020, the School decided to create the CHS Financial Assistance Program, merging donations received in support of the CHS Entrance Bursary Program and the CHS Hardship Program.
By doing so, the School has more flexibility to answer unforeseen circumstances such as COVID-19, where we saw an increased number of current families experiencing financial challenges. In this way, donations received tot eh CHS Financial Assistance Program will support families experiencing unforeseen circumstances and new families applying to Grade 8.
