Building Connection and Community

The Crofton House Winter Bazaar is a cherished annual tradition that brings together CHS students, staff, parents and alumnae in support of community-based organizations.

Each year, the Bazaar stalls are filled with handmade crafts, delicious food, products from student entrepreneurs, alumnae-crafted jams, and unique gifts for the community to enjoy.

The first Bazaar took place on May 26, 1944, to support the Senior School Junior Red Cross during World War II. Today, the Bazaar continues to be a community-focused event, made possible by the efforts, creativity, and collaboration of everyone involved, and the leadership of the CHS Parents' Auxiliary.

The 2025 Winter Bazaar was be held on Saturday, November 29. Proceeds support two of the School’s community partners, the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre and Backpack Buddies—organizations dedicated to driving meaningful change, creating empowering environments for women and girls, and supporting families.
