Sue (Greer) Lewis-O'Halloran '68
Sue has worked in the non-profit sector for most of her career, in Vancouver and now in New Zealand. Her involvement with Dress for Success, a global charity, began in 1999 as a suit donor to the Vancouver affiliate, and progressed to running Dress for Success Auckland in 2007 when she moved to New Zealand with her kiwi husband. In 2009 she joined the global organization as Regional Director of Australia and New Zealand, a job of great variety and travel. She manages to get to Vancouver at least once a year and to connect with her classmates when her travels allow.
Gail Hansen '60
Gail and her husband Anders celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on the 6th March,
2015 in Denmark with their family and close friends. They had a wonderful day and evening. Included in the celebrations were their three children with their partners and 7 grandchildren!
Susanna (Garner) Cunningham ' 61
Susanna (Garner) Cunningham is currently a professor in the Department of Biobehavioral Nursing & Health Systems at the University of Washington in Seattle. Recently, she travelled to Windhoek, Namibia in July 2014 to work with the School of Nursing at the University of Namibia (UNAM), the Ministry of Health and Social Services and faculty from the National Health Training Centers to develop Core Competencies for the three levels of Nursing preparation in Namibia. This was a follow-up from her 2011 visit with for an initial assessment.
Beverley Bie Brahic '61
Beverly Bie Brahic's translation, "Apollinaire, The Little Auto," was awarded the 2013 Scott Moncrieff Prize for Translation in a ceremony at Europe House in London in February of this year. When Deirdre (Elworthy) Stewart ’62 visited Vancouver we had another great reason to get back together. It was a grand reunion as most of us had not seen Deirdre for at least 50 years, For some of us it was a double reunion, both from our years at CHS and for some, from Elgar Choir years.

Beverley Bie Brahic '61
Beverley's new poetry collection, White Sheets, was published by Fitzhenry & Whiteside in Canada and the US, and by CB Editions in the UK. White Sheets is a Poetry Book Society Recommendation and is a finalist for the Forward Prize for Best Collection 2012; and nominated for the Governor General's Award.
Beverley also published a translation of Apollinaire poems, The Little Auto with CB Editions (UK) this year.

Jill passed away November 20, 2012 in Bowmanville Ontario. She is survived by her husband, Walter and 2 children.
Judith Ann (Spencer) Rumsby '64
Judy passed away unexpectedly on Monday Nov 26th, 2012. She leaves behind her husband of 46 years, Burton Rumsby, and two children, Tracey Edwards and Aaron Rumsby, and two grandchildren, Natasha & Nicholas Edwards, and very good long-time friend, Flavio Lomeli. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
Sarah Simpson '64

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of Sarah's passing at home after a brave battle with cancer. Sarah leaves behind her sister Julia (Roland) ‘ 65, brother Mark (Johanna), nieces and nephews Madeline, Frances, Christopher, Catherine and Edward. Sarah will also be missed by her cousins in the UK and her many friends. Sarah graduated from Crofton House School and UVic followed by a long teaching career in Prince George and New Westminster.
