Community Dining Menu
Crofton House School is committed to providing a healthy, community, dining experience for its students and staff. Manrell Hall, together with the community dining program and SAGE Dining Services (SAGE), continues to fulfil the School’s vision as a gathering space where our girls and staff share meals, foster connectedness, pause from their busy day, and create healthy eating habits.
SAGE Dining Services
SAGE has served independent schools for more than 25 years and is committed to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and herbs from the School’s garden. All special dietary needs including allergies and food sensitivities are met in consultation with our food service provider who is dedicated to preparing nutritious, balanced and tasty meals for everyone.
Lunch and Mid-Morning Break Snacks
Lunch is available to all students. Costs are included in tuition fees. The community dining program is seated in two sessions to accommodate the whole school from grades 1 – 12. With approved exceptions, all students from grades 1 – 11 are required to eat lunch in Manrell Hall. JK and SK participate in the program and are served lunch in the familiar environment of the ECE Centre. Students are not permitted to order food for delivery to the School or leave campus to pick up food. Only grade 12 students have the privilege of going off campus during spare blocks and lunch, following the sign-in and sign-out procedures.

Families are encouraged to pack a nutritious, “allergen-aware”, waste-conscious snack for their daughter for the mid-morning break. Fruit is served at mid-morning in the Senior School. For all students, an after-school snack is helpful with participation in co-curricular activities and athletics. Peanuts, peanut butter, or nuts of any kind are not permitted at school for the safety of students with severe allergies.
Grab & Go – Before-and-After-School Snacks
The Grab & Go counter in Manrell Hall provides healthy snacks available for purchase in the morning and afternoon. Students must present their student ID card when making a purchase to charge their account. Parents may request a computer printout of their daughter’s Grab & Go purchases from the accounting department. Replacement cards can be purchased through the Junior and Senior School Offices. The Grab & Go is open 7:00 am to 8:30 am and 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
