School Traditions

Established in 1898, Crofton House is a school with many rich traditions. Some have been celebrated for numerous decades, honouring the school's history, while new additions reflect the changing generations and diversity of the Crofton House community.

Carol Service at St. Andrew's Wesley Church

This service is a time-honoured tradition at CHS that dates from the 1930s. It is the one time in the year when the entire school community is invited to come together and celebrate the magic of children's voices.

Lunar New Year

This festive season comes to life at CHS with Chinese delicacies, dragon dances, festive music and colourful decorations.

Father-Daughter Bingo

Every year, families come out in droves for the annual Father-Daughter Bingo event in Chan Hall. Hosted by the Parents' Auxiliary, the event is always a rousing success.

The School Birthday

Mother-Daughter Dance Night

Each year, a new theme is picked for the annual Mother-Daughter Dance Night. This past year was a bollywood theme, complete with elaborate dresses, authentic Indian food, professional dancers and film clips projected on the walls.
