Learning to Lead

At Crofton House, girls feel nurtured, challenged, and empowered to invent the future, theirs and ours. We embrace the responsibilities of schools in educating thoughtful and engaged citizens. At Crofton House, this is also about preparing young women to lead.

Students are motivated to strive for their best selves, embracing academic challenge and diverse experiences, guided by staff who know them and believe in them. Girls are immersed in a culture that models our values of courage, creativity and citizenship

In this environment each girl can discover and pursue her own path, developing the confidence and capacity to thrive and positively influence the world.

Beginning in the early grades, students start to see how they can have a positive impact through hands-on learning in classrooms, in nature and in the community. As they progress through the grades, older girls are supported to take on formal leadership roles and develop cross-grade relationships that develop responsibility and showcase leadership for younger students.
