A group of 52 CHS students attended the 14th annual Vancouver Youth Model United Nations (VYMUN) conference from Friday, October 25 to Sunday, October 27 at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Many of the students were attending for the first time. Several of our students were awarded for their efforts including six girls who won the top prize of Best Delegate.
Co-Curricular Handbook 2020–2021
Our extensive co-curricular program is a hallmark of Crofton House. With activities ranging from cooking to field hockey and debate to film, the program is designed to help inspire girls to discover and pursue their personal excellence.
This handbook, which is updated annually, outlines the many options available to students as part of co-curricular program under the areas of Ivy Compass, Athletics, Performing Arts, Clubs, Activities and Programs, and Global Opportunities. It is designed to help answer questions that parents and students may when deciding on co-curricular activities.
Students in the Senior School Robotics Club are busy building the foundations for their project this semester. Teams of students are endeavoring to create robots that will engage in competitive games similar to Tic-Tac-Toe, using mini basketballs.
Senior School students in Business Club have been busy developing pitches for a lemonade stand. Focusing on branding, location, financing and unique selling points to differentiate from competitors, they pitched their concepts this week.
